Lake Karapiro, the beach is at Hahei on the Coromandel Pen. (I thought I was in Thailand except there was noone on the beach waiting to paint my toenails), Auckland is the city photo.

These photos were taken around New Plymouth. The walking track was in Mount Egmont national park. The snow capped mountain is Mt. Egmont.
Around Dalby in December
December I was back in my home base of Dalby. For two weeks I 'farm sat' for my nephew and his family. The stormy sunset was taken at their place. The water hole is 'the lagoon' and is on the farm where I grew up. It is now owned by my sister and brother in law. It's a favourite place for family picnics on Boxing Day. The family gathering was taken over Christmas at Isabelle and Laff's house in Dalby.
