September 2009 WA Geraldton area - wind and wildflowers

This area is famous for its wildflowers. This year has been a good one and the wild flowers have been stunning - masses of every lasting daises, shrubs and a wide variety of small flowers and orchids.

Mt Isa NW Queensland June 2009

This is my final month of working at Mt Isa School of the Air. The photos show me at work, teaching reading via the phone, horse jumps at the Mt Isa show and wild flowers. The stunning sun rise was the view from my bed at Julia Creek. Pub photo is also at Julia Creek which is a small town (pop 300) about 3 hours drive east of Mt Isa.
