September 2014 page 2 Cambodia and Singapore

A floating village near Siem Reap, Cambodia

The swimming pools around the apartment buildings in Singapore are enormous. My friend Keith lives in this apartment block. He has never been in the pool.

There is always new construction in Singapore. This is a new casino.

A new botanical garden. The high things are water tanks. They are covered in lights and look good at night. The building in the background is the theatre.

My transport to the village school. I did ask if there was a helmet for me.

Lynda and I went to a morning cooking school. We cooked our lunch.

It was quite hard work!

Our lunch was delicious - Amok Chicken, banana flower salad and tapioca dessert.

Collecting Lynda from the airport. She is going to volunteer for two weeks at the same village school where I have been working.

At the market in Siem Reap - meat, seafood, chicken, fruit, vegetables and spices. It's very busy in the mornings.

These two restaurants are in Pub street.

Siem Reap - This street is called Pub Street and it is full of bars, restaurants and tourists. Angkor Wat, Cambodia's main tourist attraction, is close to Siem Reap.
