April, 2009 Dalby to Mt Isa, Queensland

The oldest pub in Roma which is also famous for all the bottle trees planted along the streets. The ones in the main street have all been planted to remember WW1 soldiers.

This kangaroo watched me very carefully as I walked by, on  my way to the Stockman's Hall of Fame in Longreach.
Bones from dinosaurs have been found in a wide area of NW QLD.This leg is on display at Winton.

I'm now working at Mt Isa School of the Air, for 10 weeks. The photo of the mustering 'chopper' was taken when I was visiting one of my students, on a cattle station near Cloncurry.
